Remains of the Day

I took a photo close to sun down of the crowd at the beach. The sky was turning that sky blue pink that happens here. I digitally enhanced the beauty of an evening at the beach and painted it!

In the Garden

A family friend gave me a lot of Amaryllis bulbs. I planted them and the next year, I had over one dozen big red lilies blooming by my front door. I set up a stool and an easel and painted them. It was a very windy day so I had to hold the canvas with one hand and paint with the other one.
